Suppliers
For suppliers who want their catalogue in front of operators.
What you have
Stock, a price list, minimum order quantities and freight terms you can quote today.
What you want
Operators who source from you rather than from whoever appeared first in a marketplace search.
What is in the way
FlowFinds has no supplier-side product. There is no catalogue you can upload to, no listing to buy, and no placement to sponsor. This page explains what does exist and how to reach us.
What does not exist, stated first
FlowFinds today is built for the operator, not for the supplier. There is no supplier account, no catalogue ingestion, no directory listing, and no paid placement. If you came here to submit a product feed, there is nothing to submit it to. We would rather you read that in the first paragraph than after a form.
Where a supplier does appear in the product
Two places, both operator-initiated and both read-only from our side.
- The selected supplier connection. An operator records which supplier they are working with. The engine can read that connection, and it is explicitly told that a connection is not a verified quote and not a stock check. Nothing about your business is asserted from the fact that someone named you.
- A quote an operator pastes in. When an operator pastes your terms into the assistant, a server-side tool parses them — per-unit price in a stated currency, minimum units, total freight, required units, budget — and compares minimum-order cost and budget fit. The reasoning engine supplies no numbers of its own to that tool: no numeric input and no source text is accepted from it, precisely so your quote cannot be paraphrased into something you did not say.
Terms that appear only in an earlier message are not usable, and the operator is asked for complete current terms instead. Unquoted charges remain unknown, and a subtotal is never reported as a landed cost. Landed-cost, customs and duty figures are not asserted anywhere in the product.
What this means for how you quote
The parser is deliberately literal, which is good for a supplier who quotes precisely and unhelpful to one who does not. A quote that carries a labelled supplier name, one currency, an explicit per-unit price, a minimum order quantity and a total freight figure is read as written. A quote missing any of those produces a request for complete terms rather than an inferred number, so an incomplete quote does not become an unfavourable estimate — it becomes no estimate at all.
Separately, the operator’s selling price is set from listings we observed for the same product, below the lowest one we can stand behind. The margin an operator sees is computed against a supplier cost they declare, and it is marked as declared wherever it appears. Your price reaches our figures only through the operator’s own statement of it. The sourcing target the engine reasons against — sell at seventy per cent of a verified normal market price, land at no more than thirty-five per cent — is a target it is explicitly told is not a guarantee that anything can be sourced at that price.
What you do
| Step | Who acts | What exists afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Quote in one currency with labelled terms | You | A quote the parser reads exactly as written |
| State minimum units, total freight and validity | You | The fields the comparison needs; anything absent stays unknown |
| Paste the quote into the assistant | You | A server-parsed comparison of minimum-order cost against budget |
| Refuse to compute on incomplete terms | FlowFinds | A request for complete current terms, not an inferred figure |
| Declare the supplier cost in the offer | You | A margin figure that carries your declaration as its provenance |
| Write to us about supplier-side work | You | A conversation, since there is no product to sign up for |
The steps above are the operator’s, shown here so you can see exactly where your terms enter and what happens to them. The last one is yours.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no supplier fee, because there is no supplier product. We do not take a margin on sourcing, we do not sell placement, and no ranking in the find engine can be bought — the three legs are scored from dated public evidence and nothing else. If that ever changes, it will be published here and on pricing before it is offered.
Honest limits
- There is no supplier account, catalogue upload, directory or sponsored placement, and none is announced with a date.
- Being named as an operator's selected supplier asserts nothing about your prices, your stock or your reliability, and the engine is instructed accordingly.
- Quote parsing currently supports explicit per-unit prices in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling, with labelled supplier names, minimum units, total freight, required units and a budget.
- The engine may not verify a quote against your systems. Verifying is described to it as a reversible step; buying inventory is not presumed reversible without cancellation or return terms.
- We do not share operator identities, claims or volumes with suppliers.
If you want to talk about supplier-side work, write to [email protected] or use contact. What the operator sees on the sourcing desk is described under supplier, and the partners we do work with are listed under partners.
