Referral programme terms
The rules of the referral ladder and its milestones.
Last updated 5 September 2026
In short
Every account has a referral link. When someone opens it, the programme records how far they get through a fixed ladder of five observed steps: the link was opened, a product was found for them, a product was claimed, an account was saved, and the dashboard was reached. A reward is earned only at the last step — a real person who signed up and arrived at their dashboard — not for a click and not for a sign-up alone.
The reward is capacity, not cash: it raises usage allowances and may fund advertising credit. It never changes what you pay. Referring yourself, paying people to sign up, or automating sign-ups voids the rewards and may cost you the account.
The summary is not the agreement. Where it and a numbered clause differ, the clause governs.

1. Eligibility
1.1 Any account in good standing may take part. A link is generated per account and is stable; it is derived rather than issued in sequence, so one link cannot be guessed from another.
1.2 The programme is offered to account holders personally. It is not an affiliate scheme, it does not create an agency, partnership or employment relationship, and it does not entitle you to hold yourself out as representing FlowFinds.
1.3 We may exclude an account from the programme where these terms or the acceptable use policy have been breached.
2. The milestone ladder
Progress is recorded against the invited visitor’s session, in this order. Each step is an observed event in the product, not a self-reported one:
| Milestone | What has actually happened |
|---|---|
| link_opened | The invited person opened your link and a session was created. |
| find_served | The agent completed a product search and returned a result to them. |
| claimed | They claimed a product, which places it out of reach of others. |
| account_saved | They created an account against a verified email address. |
| dashboard_entered | They reached their dashboard as a signed-in founder. This is the qualifying milestone. |
2.1 A referral is credited only when dashboard_entered is recorded. The earlier milestones are shown to you as progress, and confer no entitlement on their own.
2.2 A milestone is recorded once per invited session and cannot be recorded backwards; a person who returns later does not generate a second credit.
3. Attribution
3.1 Attribution is by a first-party session cookie set when the link is opened, and lasts up to one year. If the visitor clears cookies, uses a different browser or device, or blocks the cookie, the referral cannot be attributed and no reward is earned.
3.2 Where two links precede the same sign-up, the first one recorded against the session wins.
3.3 A visitor arriving from your own account’s session is never counted as your referral.
4. Rewards
4.1 A qualifying referral increases the usage allowance on your account, and may grant advertising credit where an offer in force at the time says so.
4.2 Advertising credit granted through the programme is funded credit under clause 5 of the billing and refund terms: it can be spent on advertising but not withdrawn as cash and not transferred.
4.3 Rewards never change your price. A referral does not discount a subscription, and earning capacity through referrals never places you on a paid plan.
4.4 Rewards have no cash value, are not exchangeable, and expire if the account is closed.
4.5 We may set a cap on the number of referrals rewarded in a period, and will state it in the product where one applies.
5. What voids a referral
A referral is not credited, and existing rewards may be withdrawn, where:
- you referred yourself, including through an additional account, a household member acting on your instruction, or a second email address;
- the invited person was paid, or promised anything of value, in exchange for signing up;
- sign-ups were generated by a script, a bot farm or purchased traffic;
- the link was distributed by unsolicited bulk email or message, or by posting it where the platform’s rules forbid it;
- the link was promoted using paid search or social advertising against the FlowFinds name or a confusingly similar term;
- the sign-up used false details, or the resulting account was closed, charged back or suspended.
5.1 We investigate suspected manipulation before withdrawing a reward, and tell you what we found. You may appeal to [email protected].
6. How you may promote your link
6.1 Share it with people who would genuinely find FlowFinds useful, and disclose that you receive a benefit if they join — required by consumer law in most of the EU when you recommend a product you are rewarded for.
6.2 Describe FlowFinds accurately. Do not invent results, quote figures we have not published, or promise earnings. Our measured results are on research and may be linked to freely.
6.3 Use of our name and marks is governed by the trademark guidelines. Do not register a domain, social account or advertising campaign that could be mistaken for an official one.
7. Data and privacy
7.1 You see your invited visitors as milestones and counts. You are not shown their email address, name or any other personal detail.
7.2 The cookie set by a referral link, and the data recorded against it, are described in the cookie policy and the privacy policy.
8. Changes and termination of the programme
8.1 We may change the reward, the ladder or these terms with 30 days’ notice by email. Referrals that already qualified before the effective date are honoured on the old terms.
8.2 We may end the programme entirely with 30 days’ notice. Capacity already granted remains for the period it was granted for.
8.3 These terms are governed by Hungarian law and form part of the agreement that applies to your account.
